Your mindset is literally everything and how you choose to view your situation, your career, your body, your self worth is what you will end up creating. You’ve probably heard this all before but how often do you actually DO this? If you wake up happy and you decide that “today is going to be a good day,” chances are you are going to have an awesome day and FEEL better.
SECRET #2. Visualize Yourself As The Confident Woman You Want To Be

Speaking of negative self talk… be sure to save this secret! This quote always hits home for me – “You spend the most time with yourself so be careful what you say”. I mean, how true is that?! Learn how to let go of what you can’t control. Start writing down what you love about yourself verses what you wish you could change.
SECRET #4. Stop Scrolling And Comparing
Social media has become one of the easiest and quickest ways to compare yourself to others. (Not to say that I don’t personally love a good scroll session through Instagram haha) BUT when you start to compare your life, your body or whatever it may be — don’t let someone else’s current situation, or in social media terms ‘highlight reel’ make you second guess where you’re at in your journey.
SECRET #5. Treat Yourself Every Now And Again
Whether its a manicure, a walk in the park or booking a confidence boosting photoshoot with me, I find that many clients that I have the opportunity to photograph, are looking to treat THEMSELVES. I think that is so important. One of my favourite parts of being a professional photographer is learning about my clients story. It helps me understand and visualise why they’ve decided to document this moment and how I can bring their story to life through the lens of my camera.
You can’t wait for others to bring you happiness, you have to create it yourself.
